SIN X CUT

The Sin-X-Cut thin film capacitor has the beneficial effects that the side edge of the insulating base film is cut into a wave shape, so that the contact area between the side surface of the metal film and the metal spraying materials is enlarged, the right combination of the capacitance output end is facilitated, the service life of the capacitor is longer, the fracture condition due to unstable contact with the pins caused by cutting the side edge of the metal film into a wave shape can be avoided, and the contact effect between the side surface of the metal film and the metal spraying materials can be better improved by thickening the edge of the metal film.

ZnN

Insider environmental situations can severely affect the performance of a capacitor. The amount of oxygen inside the body of a capacitor initiates a chemical reaction with zinc that results in a residue of zinc oxide that affects the capacitance negatively. Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. Therefore, Motif Electric utilizes nitrogen for initiating the reduction process of oxygen and bringing Zinc to primary function.

OHD 2.0

Motif Electric uses the revolutionary next-generation technology called Optimized Heat Distribution that supports a capacitor in the process of heat dissipation through uniform distribution. The excess heat due to increased temperature leads in affecting the capacitance. The next generation OHD technology prevents the capacitor from excess heat.

HOW CAN MOTIF HELP IN ADDRESSING POWER QUALITY ?
Good power quality saves money and energy. Direct savings to consumers come from lower energy cost and reactive power tariffs. Indirect savings are gained by avoiding circumstances such as damage and premature aging of equipment, loss of production or loss of data and work. Power quality can affect the overall company performance, which is a fact easily overlooked by the management.

Harmonic voltages and currents

are introduced by a range of common electrical devices which distorts the AC wave form and increases power usage. By introducing harmonic filters or reactors the harmonics are eliminated and the result is more efficient power usage and cost savings.

Poor power factor

refers to an excess of reactive power in the system. This reactive power does not perform any real work and as such is wasteful and costly. Power Factor Correction (PFC) reduces and can almost eliminate this reactive power, reduce energy costs and stop equipment overheating, nuisance tripping and motor failure.

Voltage instability

is in part a side effect of the high or low voltage electricity supply from the network. High voltage does not increase equipment power and is detrimental to equipment performance and longevity, and low voltage can cause brown outs and reduced productivity. Voltage optimization ensures the voltage supplied to the system is stable as required by the equipment on site.
